Is GOW a good game for someone who will mostly just do singleplayer?

I don't think I would redo that game over and over again but it is for sure one of the single player campaign I have enjoyed the most....

I would highly recommend it... Moreover it is costing far less these days...

If your only in it for the single player then I would recommend renting it. The single player campaign is short, but very enjoyable.

I would buy it. It is a great game and I feel even though it is short, playing through the game a couple times isn't boring.

i think it has an amazing 1 player. It doesn't get boring after you play it once, played it about 5 times and you can play online and multiple difficulties. you wont regret it

The single player is a amazing. I beat it on Normal and than I played and beat it on Insane. Playing Co-op brought another spark to it. It was one of the most fun games I've ever played.

I think so yes, the singleplayer isnt an experienced that should be missed by any gamer.

And theres also a great deal of replayability, you'll find yourself replaying the game over and over to collect certain things and complete achievements. I know this doesnt sound any fun but you'll be surprised and at times you'd love to play over certain battles/boss confrontations in the game again and again.

Two thumbs up from me.

I think its a solid rental if you are only going to play one player. Only because the game is pretty short.

The single player campaign was too short in my opinion. I played through the game and beat the final boss and said "that's it?" I don't even think it took 10 hours. It was a very good game, but you should probably rent it if you aren't going to play online.

No way. The campaign is very linear and boring. At first it's great but it never changes and you do the same thing over and over and over. If you want this game JUST for that I'd have to say just pass on it.

Its not very expensive right now you could prob find it used for $30-40 now.

I beat it on casual(easy) and im now working on hardcore(medium)...some parts are really tough it helps to play co-op with a friend eitehr slpitscreen on online.

Good game though, wish more shooters had online co-op

Well, you won't get TONS of replaying it, but I have gone through the whole thing twice now, and am looking forward to going through it again on the next difficulty. It really is a great single player campaign. A lot of fun. Buy this guy, don't just rent it.

Rent it. Like the others said the SP is very short and will get bored after beating it a few times. If money is not an issue then just buy the game. You never know when you might have the urge to play it.

I really enjoyed the single player campaign. Plus, playing the game on multiple difficulties adds to the replay value.

Single player is great. It's multiplayer that can sometimes get repetitive, but it's fun nevertheless.

It's enjoyable the first, and possibly the second time... but it's really short and is basically the same thing over and over. My first time through was like 4-5 hours. Which I don't understand, Halo and other games get ranked on for having 12 hour campaigns... people say thats too short, and Gears has a 5 hour campaign and it's the best game ever. I fail to see the logic.
