look very unexciting? i've played the demo and it was kinda boring to me. I don't know, It looks nice, i love the contrast and brightness in the game. But maybe it's just a game in which it's fun factor isn't shown through the demo.
You have to take it for what it is. You're not running around with a machine gun and a rocket launcher fragging people, although you can pick up guns. But the whole premise behind the game is the free running. It's not about how I can I blow this thing up, it's about how can I get over to the other side? It's different, that's all.

That's a terrible assumption.. play the demo first.. a lot of games require you to run around.. but this is far from it.. There's actually a reason why you're running around and the way you go about it is sensational.. The controls, the gameplay, are unbelievable. I don't take kindly to people who assume a game is not worthy when they haven't tried it yet. At least play the demo first then come in here and comment...
it seemed too easy to me, like there wasnt much depth/difficulty to me. I ran through the demo 1st try without any mistakes/getting shot lol idk, it seemed like a game i would pick up at first but after playin through the demo...nah i dont think so
I really enjoyed the game. I was going to buy it. Until I watched 1up's latest show. I know the game will be an awesome experience. I just can't find myself to buy a game that takes about 6 hours to beat with no MP. They also say the story is horrible. Eh, I'll just wait it out for now. Maybe rent it.
I personally loved the demo, it's not only different from other games, but fun once you get used to it. In fact, all FPSs are the same: run, shoot, kill, repeat. I'm not bashing FPSs, I still like them and play them often. It's about time we get some games like this, having variety on this console doesn't hurt after all.
And there's a 100 point achievement of not killing any enemies in the whole game(according to OXM).
TBH, I didn't like the demo much. But I preordered it so I could try out the time trials. That part I loved. I also don't like the cell shaded cutscenes. But I'm still keeping with the preorder and think it will be a pretty good game though maybe expensive in terms of 'value' unless you like timetrials and speed running.
