Its just you. I still got to around level 40 online, and its pretty fun but theres no denying that it lags a lot (not always, more like 10% of the matches) and there can be some really annoying glitches.
Honestly, is it just me being oblivous to cheating and glitches and everything,or is the game not that bad and its just become "Cool" to bash it.
I actually find the Gears 2 online to be quite tactical and entertaining, and I very rarely run into those WTF? UNFAIR! moments...

Oh it is bad and sometimes it is good, but it all decides on your connection. If your connection is consistently great than it will be consistently good. If you are like me and lots of other people (i have a good connection BTW) you have bad games no matter what. They come complete with lag and other stupid junk. In my opinion Gears 2 has crappy online. good for you though if you enjoy it. Gears of War 1 Online RULES!!
