You do know that you need to be 17 to buy M-rated games right(US)? So actually you shouldn't be playing the game either.

How old were you when you got the game though? Obviously you've had it for a long time if you're able to make a judgement about the proportion of children playing online growing over time.

Good point.^^ Respect. Not that I disagree with you that there are too many kids on XBL, but seriously "grow up" a little. People like you think mature games are the only good ones, and you are still a child at 16 buddy. I'm practically 20 and I still don't consider myself an adult. I live on my own, I'm in college, but I can't sustain on myself, I depend on my parents.

Ever since I bought Halo 3 i have heard a bunch of kids on there talking, but then again some of the older teens aren't much more mature.
And if Halo 3 is child's play, then I, good sir, am a child at heart.
Being able to buy it is one thing but being capable of playing it and being mature is another thing. The ESRB ratings are just guidelines not rules. Now I'm not saying that a 8 year old should play any game they want to but that it depends on the childs maturity level. Not all children mature at the same rate. Kids these days get more violence these days from TV, school, or the Internet than they ever could from Halo. The ratings are also very poorly designed. Halo has the same rating as GTA IV. It makes no sense. There needs to be a 15 or 16 rating. Saying that no child should ever ever play Halo until they are 17 is like saying all children are the same. You do know that you need to be 17 to buy M-rated games right(US)? There will always be little kids that are anoying. You just have to deal with it or make goof friends with older/mature people. I hate to say it but when I was younger I was amazing at video games and now I just get destroyed by a lot of little trash talking kids lol. I enjoy playing with older people because they are usually* more layed back
Kids complaining about kids...ugh I'm sorry I can't take you serious lol.
To be honest I'm 18 and the first time I played Halo 3 is when I was 16 and I found that the game wasn't all that gruesome with mild profanity, so I always thought that it should be rated T for Teen because the majority of the online community for this game is 13-16 years old anyway.

lol owned, irony is teh best Self ownage is my favorite kind. Halo, and every game (even GTA so get used to it) for that matter is infested by younger kids. Play in Partys, and try not to stick around with them. It's not that big of a deal. I just take my headset off if they aren't saying anything relevant. Their mere existance isn't what bothers me, it's when they clearly have no respect. I refuse to hear racist and ignorant comments or singing from a 13 year old. Not all of them are that bad though. One kid last night was actually pretty funny. If you think there's any shortage of young kids on there, you're in for a surprise.that's why you stick with cod so much better ;) or talk in party chat like i do

to me they sound like plastic dunno wat they sound like to u LightColorI know they sound like plastic to you. That's what you said. I asked HOW does a gun sound like plastic?
It doesn't take a lot of skill, which attracts kids to this game.:P

Really? I can easily say the same thing for COD. To say a game like Halo takes no skill is ignorant and untrue. If we were talking about Kung Fu Panda; then fine I agree. Are you playing the same Halo as me? Because last time I checked it takes some amount of skill to not get owned in Halo or any other game for that matter.

What?! Colors, guns and aliens make the game more fun for kid? Man I wish you were on the FCC board b/c your logic is unlike any other I've encountered. Halo is called an "App Killer". Call of Duty and Gears of War aren't app killers, they are good games, but there not app killers. So b/c Halo is so popular you have old people and young people alike that play the game. With a population that big of course you'll get kids but some of the comments I'm hearing has me scratching my head b/c they haev no substance.

Don't let it get to you. Until the haters can actually make a case, instead of coming up with illogical one liners to get under your skin...than I will keep ignoring them.[QUOTE="Heroldp813"][QUOTE="mitu123"]

I didn't say no skill, I said it doesn't take a lot of it, there's a difference, that's why you hear people call it a noob game, LOL, but I don't call it a noob game. I have played shooters for over a decade and there are shooters that take far more skill(like Perfect Dark Zero, Ghost Recon series, Socom series, Unreal Tournament series, Tribes series, early Rainbow Six series, Battlefield series and more). Though Halo takes far more skill than COD, I agree with that.[QUOTE="Heroldp813"]

So someone who shouldn't be playing the game is complaining about other people who shouldn't be playing the game..
That's why when Halo 3 first came out I played the hell out of the multiplayer for like the first month because I knew younger kids would inhabit the servers later on and I guess I was right.gamerfreak1991Actually I've found there have been less kids in Halo 3 over time. Doesn't really matter now though. I just stick to party chat. It doesn't matter what game I play or how old the people are, the live community in general is terrible.
[QUOTE="iRezarektah"]Yeah, i find that it's normally the people hitting around sixteen that complain about it most.So someone who shouldn't be playing the game is complaining about other people who shouldn't be playing the game..

Yep thatgoesfor everything, not just games. It's always the people who have no room to complain that do it. I work for a party company and we do block parties, there's kids/parents that come from like the other side of town and always get an attitude when something doesn't go their way. The people who have the right to complain, don't.
Things could be so much worse than playing with 12 year olds on XBL.
How bout every person who is under 17 needs to stop playing Halo and go play G.I. Joe. that includes you OP.
Ha, I love being old:D

Yeah, I'm smarter than a lot of people here.:PI do get owned in Halo 3 sometimes, and other times I own the other players. Out of the games I listed Ghost Recon is the toughest one. I love that series, but that game series requires you to be accurate to get kills.
