is it me or is this game VERY OVER RATED(PREPARES TO OWNED)

Halo i find this game VERY VERY over rated.

Its repetitive and boring IMO.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Personally, I have played many more games of Halo 3 Beta than I ever have of GOW multiplayer. GOW is a fantastic game, but Halo 3 multiplayer appeals to me more. The like the freedom to use vehicles or fight in larger environments, but that's just me.

dude, gow sucks. its glitchy, laggy, short, and lacks weapons and maps. you should open your eyes to the awesomeness of halo. if you find it boring, then you must be mad just cause you suck at it lololol. i guess you are too noob to play it cause gow takes no skill its only about connection and host.

Ever heard of Opinion.Once GOW came out everybody was like OMG! 'Best Game Ever' now your like 'It Sucks'. It still rocks too me.I'd pick it over Halo anyday.

yep, Halo is definetly overated my friend loves it but its clearly just another shooting game with nothing special

From what I've played of Halo 1 & 2, they're in no way the best FPSs ever. I found them pretty average - I thought that the levels and weapons were OK but quite uninspiring, and that the aliens were bland and uninteresting. As for the Halo 3 Beta... I found it rather boring as an XBL game. The best comparison that comes to mind is that it's basically a futuristic BF 2: Modern Combat (a very dated XBL game in my opinion), but not even as fun as that. To be fair, I haven't played much of Halo but from what I have, I didn't think it was particularly amazing or exciting, and I don't just mean in comparison with current-gen games, but with last-gen games in mind too. I couldnt care less whether I get "flamed" by the "fan-boys" but that's my honest opinion.LUK3isH3RE

The word "overrated" is overrated.

All these threads do is cause pointless arguing. Some people like Halo, some people don't . No game is overrated, people only say that if they don't like the game themselves. So the real title of this thread is I don't like Halo.

how can you say that gears of war takes no skill...the sniper rifle in gears of war takes much more skill than the one in halo. when you fire while you are moving the bullets veer away from your target. you also only get one shot before you have to reload (granted there is active reload but not everyone uses it). there are much more things to take into account when aiming the sniper rifle in gears of war than halo. therefore gears of war sniper takes more skill than halo.

I've only played Halo 2 but I myself am apparently one of the rare few that just can't get into it. As to what you originally said, I agree, I also think Halo 3 is way over-rated.Knubbz360
