If you truly are a gamer you WILL enjoy a game and take it for what it is, and not judge it by your expectations. and BTW halo is a one of a kind FPS and is truly xbox at it's peak in graphics and gameplay, and you're a retarded Gears of war fanboy. Enjoy your 3rd person game filled with gliches and brats ready to ruini your online experience.
...I'm a Gears Of War Fanboy? ...and you read this where? I think Gears Of War and Halo is overrated. The game sells well, no doubt about that, it's got a lot of fans... so great for them, wish them the time of their lives...but for me, there are better games and shooters.

People have different opinions. I for one thought that while Gears is a great game in presentation and gameplay, it lacks in pretty much everything else. I'll be getting Halo 3 because I want to finish the story and I happen to like the games.
dude, gow sucks. its glitchy, laggy, short, and lacks weapons and maps. you should open your eyes to the awesomeness of halo. if you find it boring, then you must be mad just cause you suck at it lololol. i guess you are too noob to play it cause gow takes no skill its only about connection and host.
you just compared geow to halo? halo2 came out like 3 years ago, on a last generation console, hardly a fair comparison, and if you were comparing geow to the multiplayer beta, thats hardly a fair comparison either, how can u judge when halo 3 hasn't even came out yet? you have no idea how good the game will be, and you are missing out by not playing those games, they are amazing.
Gears is by far my favorite game for the 360 so far but I love it for the coop. The online multiplayer sucks IMO. Halo is a great game and in terms of the story as well as the game play, the first one was revolutionary (You wonder why pretty much every shooter created after halo 1 has almost the exact same controls as halo). The second one made a new standard for online multiplayer and put XBOX Live on the map. Enough said. Argue what you want about the game but theres a reason it was so popular.
