ok quick question

i called MS support and they cant answer a simple freaking question. I traded in my Halo3 to my retailer 3 different times and onece to a gamestop, so i play it and on certain parts of the game like, sandtrap online, oddball on snowbound, and mostly everywhere on the campain my game frezzes and im forced to turn off my 360 and start over. MS tells me its the disc but i keep telling them i traded it in 4 times but they insist its still my disc are they right?

my question is...is it my disc or my 360?

In my opinion, I think it would be the Xbox 360.

Of course, I could be wrong, but the freezing may be occuring cause your Xbox 360 is overheating? That happens to me a lot with my 360, but their more like small freezes. My 360 has only froze completely down once and I think it's cause I played it wayyyyyyy too long, like.. 9 hours too long, lol. How long do you play your 360 at a time?

I would say your drive may have some problems. Does the Xbox do this to any other games? It sounds like the console is the problem since you have tried four different Halo 3 discs, but maybe you just had bad luck with the discs...
