my 360 rrod-ed, whooptie deee who didn't see that coming. Im planning of getting it repaired, my brother said we should just buy a new one because a rrod-ed 360 is beyond repair it will just be a pain because it will just rrod over and over again. But a new 360 is expensive and it's injustice that my 360 lasted only 2 years. What do you guys think?

If you bought it new and it has RROD after 2 years, then you are in luck - MS extended the standard 1 year warranty to 3 years for RROD and E74 error. Call up MS and you should be able to get it collected, repaired and sent back to you for free. It took 8 days for mine to be repaired and returned.

You can get it fixed for free from Microsoft. It probably won't RROD again, other things are more likely.

due to location, i'm not able to avail the MS warranty because i'm not in the US. so i haveto rely on 3rd party people who'll do the repair.
