Is it worth buying any 360!?

With all the problems with the 360 ( arcade, pro, elite & halo version )...

and so many people going through two or more systems...

and/or getting a broken system for a replacement...

and other miscellaneous problems/errors ( reading discs etc )...

Is it even worth getting one?

It's A LOT of money to pay for a 360 when your "even money" ( 50-50% ) it's going to break or need to be replaced.

...any thoughts?

well the facts are this

1. the 360 has sweet games

2. the 360 has rrod issues

3. the ps3 just plain sucks, it has very very few good games

so either pick good games with equipment issues or get a console with no good games

why dont you go to system wars son. i think your gunna get fanboy answers, imo you shouldnt ask anyone on the web, look at reveiws or ask friends that have one, if u got friends. to me, i dont care what system i have, i just like to play games, but i bought a ps3 because xbox 360 has like a 30% failure rate when ps3 has like a 2%, im thinkin about the pro value box though, just wantin for a price drop

Yes the 360 dies (i'm on my 2nd since launch)
However, you think the PS3 is so great? check out the hardware support forum you'll find both have lots of issues.

Its just that the PS3 owners like to stay quiet about their problems.

Yes, the 360 dies but its backed by probably the best hardware warranty ever. yes people complain about hte service but who doesn't. At least you're not paying for it. Imagine having to go through all this with Sony... good luck.. and say good bye to an extra 100$

Well it comes down to this.... you can get a 360 or a PS3. One of those 2 wont break down, you wont have to pay additional fees and you get to watch HD movies. The other however.... your choice.

Dont complain about what others say when your just as bad

Buy an Elite with the Falcon motherboard. I own one and it doesn't get hot at all and not once has it glitched. It uses less power than both the original and zephyr boards. I have not heard of any RROD issues with a falcon board. EG101

I haven't heard of this "falcon" motherboard. Does it only come with the Elite? And is that something you can ask for when you buy one?..."Yeah, I'll take the Elite 360 with the falcon mother board." :?

Oh, and I put it up on the 360 forum since I hoping to get answers from other owners/people who are interested in getting a 360.
