Is my connection good compared to most Gamespoters?

I know, noob question comming from a level 20 and someone whos had xbl for over a year now. But i'm wondering howgood my connection is compared to others on gs.

I have 2.6 download speed

.43 upload

and only 10 ms ping...which is bad i think but playing online my ping bar is always 4 or 3 bars. Idk i guess only 10 ms ping is good enough but just barely 100 would be nice

I am not sure to be honest. If you aren't really lagging much or anything I wouldn't worry about it. :P I am lucky to have a nice connection.

you've got a good connection. i have a really cheap dsl connection with 1.5 megs/s download and .30 upload.. i don't even know what my ping is but it's really low and everything works fine.

I have a 15 MB download and a 1.5 MB upload, nothing super special but more then enough for what I use it for.

I got a download of 1.3 and an upload of .3 and 61 ping, but atleast it runs fine

I have a download speed of 2.6 (Wish it was faster). Upload speed of .742. Ping of like 50.

But i get little to no lag.

tried to convince my mom to switch to time Warner so our download speed could almost triple. but she shot that down.

whats level 20 got to do with it ?

don't be affraid to ask.. we are all here to learn from one another.

if you test your connection using the BBC site, you'll probably find that your connection speed differs.

at the end of the day most internet companys lie about speeds, just ask B.T.

For your information 10 ms ping is better than 100. The lower the better.

50 down 1-1.5 up is what I normally get. I ping the LA TF2 servers at about 70-85MS so my ping is nice and low. Virgin Media are easily the best ISP in the UK.Englandfc1966

I'm with Virgin too. I had no idea they did broadband as high as 50MB. I've got 20MB ATM, but I've never hit 20MB in a speedtest.

My Ping is 28 ms and line quality is B*

I still keep dying playing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. I guess I'm just crap

i have a down of 5 and a up of 2 which i know the up is really good for the amount of down

edit it never really gets to two its about 1 or .80

We're on Basic right now and planning on upgrading to Standard or Turbo. So far while living here for a couple months, we're ok with these speeds, but we did however upgraded and bought our own modems and routers which are better than the ones they provided us.

this was with my netbook so it's higher than that on my desktop
