Well I just unpacked my 360 last night, and I noticed the offer for 12 issues of the Official Xbox Magazine with the DVDs for $24. Is the magazine worth it? I thought I probably couldn't go wrong. Plus I need something other than Nintendo Power (yes I still subscribe...free stuff ;) )
for that price it's worth it but don't subscribe for life at a higher price cause there's better mags out there, they give alot of bias reviews cause they're official
The reviews in OXM are really off balanced. I remember when they gave Fight Night Round 3 a score of 10. No game deserves a perfect score. Perfection is not achievable.

Did they really change it to 11....? If so that is so rediculous....and so was giving fight night a 10. I used to get this mag...but i'll stick to getting my info from the net and usually if anything is new in OXM, someone will post the news on here.
if you dont have broadband in your area and cant get live it's worth it for the demodisks. but the message board is as accurate on predictions, and more up to date. their e3 predictions got published after e3 had happened and they weren't that accurate (with writing, editing, printing, shipping, etc... time the mag lags real time by about 60 days). as far as reviews it's the magazine that said fightnight round 3 was a better game that halo, oblivion, or any xbox game ever and gave it the mags first 10, then claimed they rate on a scale of 1-11 when they came out looking so stupid. the mags value lies 100% in the demo disk.
