Is RDR all that it's cracked up to be because i hear alot of hype about it but my brother has played it and he says it's repetetive and boring im woundering if i should buy it or not because ithink it looks nice but is the gameplay any good?
I personally loved it. If you only glance at it, you'll say it's only GTA 4 in the wild west. It's so much more than that though. There is no drug runs or brothels. It's a very mature game that accomplishes a lot. It's an amazing game that shouldn't be missed by anyone.
Well imo it is repetitive and boring and i traded it in after only owning it for 2 weeks. I'll explain why i think it isn't all that it is cracked up to be - It is basically GTA 4 but - ...not as many guns and explosions ...not as many cars (only get horse or horse and carriage) ...not as many buildings ...not as much interesting stuff to do between missions. for example you can't steal cars, but you can pick flowers. It is a well made game, and the graphics are great, but imo it is flawed in the fact that there simply isn't as much to do in the wild west as there is in a big city. You basically ride around open country, doing..................not alot. One thing i did find great was the co-op mode where you have to enter a mine and steal gold, or all work together to rescue the damsel in distress. I also didn't find the story at all interesting either. It is about as good as a Wild West game gets, but meh, just.........too..........BORING ! :)
