Is the 1080p resolution supported by Xbox 360 a real and pure 1080p resolution?

Hi, I'd like to know if the 1080p resolution supported by Xbox 360 games is a full and pure 1080p resolution because I know initially Xbox 360 only supported 1080i resolution and it was upgraded via an update. Is it a 1080p resolution at 30 fps or I don't know... I might buy an LCD HDTV and want that info.

Best regards,

Bobby

Make sure the 360 ya buy has the HDMI port, and yes...it will display in "true" 1080p.

Not every game is made with 1080p definition graphics...but the system itself can display 1080p.

While the 360 does indeed support native 1080p, only 3 titles currently support it.

I don't have the elite 360 with the HDMI port so I cannot display native 1080p?
