Saints Row if you havent played it then. GTA rip off but hey, youre waiting for GTA4 so why not play a good clone to prepare? lol.
it's not a GTA rip-off...GTA's genre is called the "sandbox" genre...saints row is that of the sandbox genre...and IMO saints row does just about everything better than GTA...seriously...get that game[QUOTE="sarmini"][QUOTE="gazza257"]Thanks guys, I was thinking of getting cod 4 but I keep hearing that it's a short campain

I think SR did everything better then the previous GTA's, but I think GTA4 will do everything better than SR.[QUOTE="sarmini"]Assassins Creed
Mass Effect (I know its RPG but this game is amazing)
Call of Duty 4
Burnout Paradise
All I can think of right now.

Is Mass Effect any thing like Oblivion?
I thought it was better honestly. Dialogue (Spelling?) is way better, and the gameplay is far better IMO. Atleast rent it.[QUOTE="fiercedeity901"][QUOTE="sarmini"][QUOTE="gazza257"]Thanks guys, I was thinking of getting cod 4 but I keep hearing that it's a short campain

If you dont think thats a rip off, then I dont know what is. You can think its not a rip off, but I think it is. To each his own.sarminiit's a genre...no more heroes is exactly like GTA...it's free roaming and the mission set up is just like GTA's...but it's nowhere near a rip off...this style of game is a genre of it's own now, everythings been done, there's nothing left to copy besides...who cares...saints row is better in every aspect...even the story
Mass Effect and Oblivion are two completely different games, despite them being both "open-ended RPGs"
Oblivion follows the traditional North-American system of RPGs, and is reminiscent of a lot of MMOs.
Mass Effect strictly follows the "BioWare"-style RPG formula, and feels strickly KOTOR-like, which include RPG elements like all of your party members leveling up at the same time despite how much or little they did, and etc.
And speaking of parties, none of that exists in Oblivion.
Oblivion offers over 100 hours of initial gameplay, but there isn't much replay value after that.
Mass Effect is more of a 20-hour experience on the first run, but you'll probably want to re-experience the story at least once more because of its open-endedness in terms of its story.
Oblivion is far more open-ended than Mass Effect in terms of gameplay, but Mass Effect definitely wins in terms of character developmental open-endedness.
On the whole, I'd take ME over Oblivion.
Mass Effect has great graphics and presentation, but you do more talking than fighting in the game. The fighting is great when you actually get to fight.. and the story isn't as great as everyone says it is. I sold it after I beat it.
Rock Band is a great game with lots of replayability. It has a decent set of songs, but more are downloadable, and it's a blast to play with others.
Dead Rising is a good game you can find cheap which is very entertaining with tons of stuff to do.
Bioshock is a pretty cool game from what I've played (about 8 hours so far)..
I'm looking forward to Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.. I think it's coming out Feb.
Sabateur looks cool too, but I don't know when that'll be out.
COD4 is a great multiplayer game, and from what I've seen is probably a good single player game as well. If you like online gaming, this is where it's at other than....
GOW, which if you haven't played by now then you've been living under a rock for the past few yrs.
