I have a 3 year warranty, I was just wondering if MS is doing anything to accommodate for consumers who wish to replace their premium with an Elite.
Something like "trade your premium and 3 games for an elite" or anything like that at all?

gamestop will give you $250 for the premium (theyre having a "special"), if you are going to buy the elite

yeah and if you think about it, $250 for premium but $200 for a core (67% of your money back if you trade-in core, but about 45% ONLY IF YOU TRADE-IN PREMIUM) weird huh? :P

NOt really...
If you think about it, you probably played with your x360 for almost a year and half. It has been USED! That's why it deserves less money. I would say 250 dollars is not so terrible. If you really want to make more, then sell it on ebay. You can get around 300 dollars for it.
At the end, xbox 360 Elite is for those of us who have been waiting for an upgrade. LIKE ME!

y the hell would u trade in games for a console which will play them?
If you only need the 120 GB HDD, you can buy that seperately, which even comes with a transfer cable. The Elite is for if you really need an HDMI out for your HDTV that doesn't accept 1080p through components (which many don't, hence why they have HDMI ports). mouthforbathoryI dont have HDMI yet I am getting the Elite. I want the HDD but I am not willing to pay $180 for it. I bought my 360 from Costco at launch, and I am able to just return the old one, and get the Elite for the same price I bought my first 360. Granted the new bundle at Costco is not including a game, but I now have plenty of games.
