Played it for about 3 hours. Its pretty sweet. Good combat and big massive battles. Someone said its like a hack n slasher and fable and I'd have to agree; the setting and characters are similar to fable and the combats like a typical hack n slasher, only goorier and more satisfying. The adventuring is quite good as the graphics are quite nice. I'm only worried it will get a bit repetitive but I'd give it a 7/8 out of 10 so far. Hope this helps

Is there any character progression? New attacks to unlock and the like?
Yup, you use gold to buy new moves....There are also health upgrades and elemental rune upgrades that fuel the 3 elemental attacks you can use....pretty awesome game
