yeah if you buy an arcade and then a hdd it works fine, but you save money with the premium

What he said. Make sure you get live though, makes the 360 300% better.

You would save more with the premium, and eliminate the problem of having to buy a hard drive in the Immidiate future.

With an arcdade, a cheap hard drive, and live, and tax, your lookin at 300. It's worth every penny

i want to save some money for games, does the premium come with a game? i guess not... but anyway, the hdd can wait a bit longer. i want to play some good games that are already out and some that are coming for the 360 like final fantasy 13, so i was thinking that the arcade was a good console to start and i would upgrade it when i get enough money.

even though you're low on money right now, I would still suggest the premium over the arcade. All the extras that come with it are well worth the investment, it'll save you time and money in the long run.

You should hold off on an arcade until the ones with 4gb of memory are on shelves. 4GB is enough to store all of your game saves and then some. That's a great deal, especially when you can plug up usb sticks or a USB drive and get up to 32 extra gb.

At my Best Buy, there are 300 dollar 360 bundles with FF13 and a 250gig hd. Look for one of those.
