Let me know in the comments below since I'm quite excited to have a console after a long time.
I picked up 2 used X360s separately last year for ~$130 total including 4 controllers and a bunch of games. I completed the controller set and bought multiple copies of the games and now have an awesome 8-player LAN setup for less than the cost of a new console. So for that, yes it's worth it.
A lot of the big games are cheap, too. Every couple months GameStop runs sales which tons of used X360 games are eligible for.
It depends on how you want to look at it, actually I decomissioned my GOW LE X360 slim and purchased a NIB X360 E so for me it’s worth it, I still play a lot of X360 games, SP and MP, besides, my library keeps growing with deals available through the store so I still will have a lot of X360 for a while.
If you've never had one and don't plan on getting an Xbox One then ya. It has a huge library of great games. If you are thinking about getting an Xbox One, get that because it has backwards compatibility.
@rockfield: In my opinion, Xbox 360 gave me some of the greatest gaming memories, so yes, it is worth it. How much are you paying for it?
I get alot of fun with the kinect and sports1+2 plus other kinect games I got for super cheap. I don't really have time to sit down and play anything with work and family life (I think the last game I actually sat and completed was Skyrim) so to load it up with casual kinect games is pretty nice.

The cheapest price I found online costs around 6000-8000 or 9000 pesos. But still , my dad finds that used xbox 360 expensive so I guess, I'll save more money for it.
If your looking for a huge online community look elsewhere but if our ok with single player games not being all in high definition the Xbox 360 has a huge backlog of loads of differing genres to keep most gamers happy. along with an unbeatable price, I think the Xbox 360 is still very much worth it.
It all depends on the games you're wanting to play. As you know the latest games are not supported to be played on this old 360 console, so if you're into playing old titles and can compromise on graphics then i don't see any problem with the xbox 360.
I would say so, for me personally the backwards compatibility on Xbox One isn't totally reliable and also a good selection of games aren't compatable. I've still got my 360 from 2007 and got no plans to ever get rid of it.
Unless you really just want to do some LAN stuff or play some games that weren't popular and aren't available on BC, I wouldn't get a 360 these days.
Most of the really great games are on BC for the XBO, and they will probably add all of the other really noteworthy games to BC eventually. Pretty much every 360 game I've wanted to play again, or that I passed on before and now have a chance to play on the XBO... I can.
I also get the impression that the XBO will be around for many years to come, since it seems like Microsoft wants to release incremental hardware updates over the years and get away from the usual 5-year cycle.
