Is Xbox live updateing?

Because i havent been able to connect to Xbox live for about a month now. I press connect to xbox live at the dashboard, then it says i cant connect or else im told i need to update my account. But then it says i cant update my account because i dont have connection. Any suggestions? Or are xbox live just updateing?

1. do you have xbox gold?

2. are you hooked up through a modem or the wireless adaptor?

Anyways to answer your question, no it hasent updated in a while. Just make sure all of your cables are in correctly. Also run the test to see what the problem is, that should show you whats going wrong.

OH and i should note if you have a router, some are/aren't compatible with Xbox live...I found out the hard way.

sounds as if your gold has run out go to billing.microsoft.com i had the exact same problem today. Hope it helps!

oh hahaha, my bust dude i actually thought you were for real, i was gunna say stop playin xbox lol. but yea plug everything in rihgt and run your tests and if youre planning on getting a router get a linksys one, mine works fine and i didnt get the biggest one.:D

i have the same problem god dammit my brother is able to play xbox live on his account and i cant and he wont let me so i havent played for a month too we have the same problem maybe we need to make new accounts or something idksomethincoolest

well with you if you only got that free month than maybe youre month is up or u just dont have gold.
