Is Xbox live worth 250$!?!?!?!

well i just bought an xbox arcade about 2 weeks ago, and i was recently shocked to find out that id have to pay 250$ to play online hard drive-100$ XBL subscription-50$ wirless adapter-100$

And thats just the service!!! no games, headsets,or point cards.... is it worth it??

I may just be a total idiot, but your post is seriously confusing to me. Do you mean that once you bought the Xbox Arcade, that to play online on xbl that you must pay $250? or do you mean that the system costs that much? and you don't need a damn wireless adapter.... ever hear of a normal ethernet cable? and harddrives, while usefu aren;t really neccesary, if youve got a few games just get the memory card.

um it costs the same , whether you go pro or not, 20 gb hdd costs 100 even less if used, try looking for used ones,

if you dont want to pay 100 ,, i just got 2 120 gb hdds when my 20 gb broke

so you done the right thing no games? you got 5 free games what are you talking about no games, play uno and games dont come with prems , or elites, except hexic with the hdd , which comes with any hdd .

so you got 5 free games go buy a hdd seperate remember each console has its faults
