Hey guys! I just bought 360 Pro GOW1&2 bundle from the store. I'll buy HDTV today. But it seems like u guys have a lot of problems with your 360. Is this system that bad? Well, a lot of people still buy it and PS3 cost around 60-70% more than 360 Pro so I guess 360 is the better choice for now.
If the system was bad why would we buy it and then come on here to discuss games on it? Mines gone a year and three months without any problems at all.
I'm on my third 360 in about 2.5 years, my newest one has gone over a year without dying so hopefully that will keep up. Make sure to keep the actually console in an open ventilated space.
The 360 is way reliable now man...back in the start people would play for 6 months and then get RROD. That rarely if ever happens anymore, i'd say your about guaranteed 2 years on your xbox, i feel real good with the new ones, as opposed to the one i had 3 years ago. Be happy, pee in your pants.
I have not had a single problem to date with my 360 (2.5 years running :D) and believe it or not ,only one of my friends that has a 360 has gotten the RROD (and I have many friends who have a 360)...So imo at least, the problems are very exaggerated and blown way out of proportion
u should be saying w00t w00t about it. no, there are less problems now. it seems likeu have a new one so it is even better. don't worry about it because it will have a low rate of failing then a older model.

You should know the system is beast, meaning that it's very entertaining and doesn't let you down. Has a very diverse line of games for just about anyone, has a good online component, large community, and it's praised by nearly all developers..what more could you want? And the PS3 to me is the opposite at the moment.
Your reaction should be, "Wow, look at this great catalogue of great, old, inexpensive games." I saw Mass Effect in Gamestop for $15. I easily have more games for the 360 than for any console that I have ever owned. I only have 3 games for my PS3 and 4 for my Wii. I have so many 360 games that I often spend way too much time trying to figure out what to play next.
All the systems are good to have. it depends on your taste. I would disagree with your statement about the PS3 costing 60 to 70 percent more. The arcade version is basically a crappy barebones package so with the 60 being a hundred more plus 50 for online, you are only looking at 50 dollars worth of difference. Both systems have great games like Tales of Vesperia, Gears of War, Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance. The multiplat games run pretty equal cross platform. If you can ever chulk up the money and get both sets, then the world of gaming only gets better for you. Glad you are happy with your new system.
