With the release of just cause 2 coming up soon and from what ive seen its just mercenaries 2 with just some little added features. they have copied the scenary from mercs 2 (south america), they have copied the grapling hook. they have copied heaps, still buying it tho ,
I'll wait and see. The original Just Cause was pretty short and didn't have a whole lot to do after the story. If the sequels the same, its not worth it, in my opinion.
Also - they haven't copied the grappling hook mechanic, it was in the original Just Cause.
yeah but mercs 2 sucked balls, just cause 2 looks pretty sweet. the grappling hook in just cause 2 can grab onto anything or connect any 2 things together, imagine the possibilities
All games borrow from one another to some extent. That said Im not really sure exactly what it was about Mercs 2, but luckily I rented it, played maybe about 45 min of it and decided it just wasn't for me, maybe I should have given it a little longer, I dont know.
