I went into this game knowing that it was a short campaign. But other than that i enjoyed it alot. Exciting moments and brutal in every way at times. Why did this game get so much negativity when it came out. There were a few frame rate and texture issues but nothing that didnt fix itself within a few seconds.

I cant be the only one that enjoyed this game surely?

Production value was lacking. With polished experiences offered by other shooters, the problem areas couldn't help but to leap out. That being said, I liked the game and enjoyed Homefront for what it was.

Agreed. Homefront was obviously funded by the publisher to cash in on how popular call of duty is. it shows, and the game is dead online, and the single player was BRUTALLY short.

I actually thought production was excellent. All sorts of detail. MP is definitely where this game rules. Its a damn shame online is already dead because its a ton of fun. Better than CoD in every way and yet was scored much lower than it.

It got negativity for a lot of reason. The main thing that I found funny was that their servers were overloaded on day 1! They had much more traffic than expected and it caused all kinds of issues. It just goes to show that the devs weren't expecting the game to sell as well as it did, and they were not prepared for it. Its hard for a game to have longevity nowadays.

I finished Homefront's short campaign yet, it felt like a chore to play after Chapter 2. The storyline got flat real fast.

There's hardly anything original in the FPS genre today but, I have come to expect great graphics....especially after games like Bioshock, COD, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Halo, etc...Homefront's visuals are just awful...painful to look at.

It controls well and the sound effects are pretty good...and there was potential for the MP to be good but it ended up being mediocre at best.

There's no reason to buy a game like this when there are so many superior FPS titles out there.

Care to back that up with some evidence or even an opinion? COD's multiplayer is excellent, I can't get enough of Zombies. To me the SP is too linear and generic. You essentially have unlimited ammo and you dont even have to have good aim to play it. Hide behind cover, wait for enemies to pop and, shoot them. Or use some sort of explosive ammo/grenades to take out a bunch at one time. Oh yeah, and you occasionally press x to place explosives or something. Lame campaign, story was alright, but gameplay was terrible.

I meant the mutiplayer people spend on cod...I love zombies mode...i mean like competition.

I stopped reading reviews after seeing Dante's Inferno, Splatterhouse and Knights contract reviews. I cannot understand how KC > Splaterrhouse.Or how KC has almost the same score as DI.

THe developers wished COD was in the title. Seeing as how they tried soo hard to rip its success.
