My original Xbox broke (E-74) so I sent it off for repair. That same day, I purchased an Arcade from Best Buy with the intention of refunding it once my original came back. However, the arcade has the internal memory, so i'm 100% sure that its a Jasper.

I have no clue what the repaired unit is. Do you think i'd be better off keeping the repaired unit, or should I put in the Best Buy box, return it for a refund and actually keep the Jasper Arcade?

thats not going to work. they will make sure that the model number match. Best buy is good at that. Especially for something that expensive. Not to mention that is a shady thing to do.

Bring it back and specifically complain that when you opened it, the unit was obviously NOT new because the wrapping was all ripped, it wasn't packed up right, etc. and demand a refund.
