I know this sounds like a complete newbtastic question, but I have a couple questions about space and keeping my 360 ventilated.

There is about 4 inches on each side of my power brick. (it sits in between my tv and stereo system. Do I need much more space for it to keep cooler?

I have a 200 capacity cd sleeve holder that has all my games ontop of my 360. Should I take this off?

I havent really gotten a definitive answer about this, but will helping my 360 get more space actually reduce the chance of getting the RROD?

Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

There's a risk of RRoD no matter what. The best advice for ventaliting is keeping the 360 in an open space, like on top of a dresser, book case, etc, and making sure none of the vents are covered. Most importanly don't turn it on it's side, because doing that covers one of the larger vents.

Even if you keep your unit in a well ventilated area, it is more important to keep up with daily maintenance, i.e., keep the vents clean!.

Keep it on a wood or tile floor and out of the suns view. Also keep the vent holes clear of dust, many people seem to forget this.

Do I need more space for the power brick as well? There are only a couple inches on each side of it.

I have mine sitting alone on a wire mesh type storage bin that's upside down. The bin has holes all over it, so the fans on the bottom of my console can still get rid of heat. I think it works pretty good.
