Lack of games.

Yeah so, since I've bought my 360 I've only played 2 games that I liked.

Oblivion and Gears of War.

Any other games for this system I should be taking a crack at?

Think general I don't want to know about a sports game if you only like sports games.

What games for this system would appeal to anyone that loves video games?

Any genre, but I really like RPG(no turn based combat though), I like adventure adventure/horror games.

I'll do platformers if they're really good.

Don't really care for sports or FPS unless the FPS has a good strong adventure/rpg element.

Oh yeah I played Kameo too, rather enjoyed that.

Looks like I'm waiting for Resident Evil 5, Alan Wake and Fable 2.

Disappointed in the 360's releases. It's been out over a year and they're still making horrible games that are getting horrible reviews.

I'm in the same boat. I have Oblivion and Gears. I've rented a lot of 360 titles but I only play them on my other gamertag. I'm waiting for Mass Effect, Bioshock, Resident Evil 5, GTA IV, Halo 3 and Turok (I'm a fan of the N64 Turok games). While you're waiting for the heavy hitter titles, why not just rent games or buy backward compatible Xbox games?

I disagree. His standards are not high. Everyone screamsabout how great the 360 lineup is, and they point to games like COD3 as proof. But all these games, especially in light of the 360vsPS3 comparison (which it is ALWAYS a factor), have to be fully weighed. COD3, vegas, GRAW2 are all either on or gonna be on the ps3. Oblivion as well. I thought Dead Rising and Lost Planet were duds, but maybe that's just me. But to assume that there is just this PS2-sized repertoire of amazingness in the 360 is ridiculous. Granted, it's early in the game, granted, the ps3 has nothing now, granted granted granted granted, It still doesn't change the argument that the 360 relies on vegas, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, oblivion (all of which only the hardcore gamer plays anyways) Gears, and then a handfull of xbox games (most of the updated list are junk, like BMX XXX that nobody really played anyways) that are flagshipping along.

Wasn't expecting a lack of games thread on Xbox360 forum.  But now i see what you meant.  But I personally enjoy the tactical shooters. Try Vegas, at least rent it.  Its online is amazing.
