Left 4 Dead worth sixty dollars?

I've been sorta iffy about Left 4 Dead. From what I've heard the entire campaign be beaten in about four hours. The multiplayer only has like four maps and if I recall correctly there are only like two multiplayer modes.

Considering all this I really don't get why it's sixty dollars. I'm not bashing the game or anything, but considering how very little seems to be in the game I find it hard to justify the price. And considering it appears to be a game of just humans vs vombies it doesnt sound like theres much variety in gameplay.

I hear it's really fun, but I've already got "really fun" games with alot more content.

Is there somthing I just don't get? I haven't played it, is there somthing about the game thats just really fun or different that I don't know about?

Actually this is a really good game. I just started playing it over the weekend with some friends. Really fun on co op and stuff. I jumped on youtube and found a review of it...apparently even girls are playing it! :D Here's the review I watched right before I rented it from blockbuster.
