I am planning to buy the 360..does the white console have the hdmi connection like the elite? or does it come in the black only?

Just the elite will have the HDMI and it will only be in black as of now. So you can wait for the white HDMI version to come out or just pick up the black version with HDMI and the 120 GB HDD.

Depends on if you are using VGA or Composite cables. The 360 comes with standard Composite cables, which are very nice, but I tend to prefer the quality of VGA...I think it looks more bright and vivid. Basically the choice between VGA and Composite is all personal preference, but HDMI is definitely better than the other two. Try going on Yahoo or Google and searching for some information on the different picture quality of the three.
