Hi, I'm currently in the market for a 26-32" 720p/1080p LCD for my bedroom to use with my 360. I'm looking for a set that has decent sound because I do not own external speakers and I would be using the speakers on the TV. I've checked numerous sites, and I see mixed reviews for pretty much all the TVs I look at. I'm posting here in hopes I can find someone who actually uses the TV for their 360 and can vouch for its quality on a first hand basis.

I'd prefer a model that can be purchased at a retailer like Best Buy so I can go in to the store, buy it and go home instead of ordering online, however if the best choice is an online only TV, say from Amazon, I'd be willing to buy that too. Thanks a lot for reading and I appreciate your time.

I'm trying to get specific models in that size range so I can take a closer look at their specs so I can make a decision about which one to buy. I'm hoping some people here have some great TV's in the 26-32" range that they use with their 360 so I can get their experiences with it and buy one myself. I do appreciate the contrast ratio comment, and the fact you said PC monitors don't look as good because I was considering buying a monitor and using my spare speakers for sound because I have the 360 VGA cable from when I first bought it. Still looking for some specifics though, thanks guys.

After doing a bit of searching myself, I came across this site on Bestbuys site, however I can't link to their site for some reason, so here's the TV at tigerdirect. I'm just hoping some of you can check out the specs and let me know what you think.

I own a 26" Vizio that I have my PS3 and 360 hooked up to and don't have any trouble and the pic is really good. I also have a 46" Vizio that I've played both systems on and my Wii. Both are flat screen LCDHDTV's.

If you have a Costco in your area, buy from them So you can get a easy return. I would stick with Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony. No debate no question there the best. I bought a samsung LCD LED tv for my motorhome from Costco, Amazing picture with the 360. If you have the ability to buy or install a 42" the panasonic plasma That Costco stocks in amazing also. I have 6 tvs in my house, all samsung and panasonic, never a problem.

The best thing is the price on these flat screens are dropping and if you can hold off until Black Friday they'll drop even more.

Whoever suggested getting it at Costco was right. They will usually extend the warranty by another year or two. I picked up a Samsung 46" 1080p and can't recommend it highly enough. It is great and the picture is amazing on both my 360 and my PS3. My neighbor, a real audio/visual nut had the calibration DVDs (Definitely get some and do all the tests) and ran it on both the 360 and PS3 and the picture went from outstanding to phenomenal!!! Can't recommend those calibration disks highly enough.

stick to well known brands, cheap brands like visio and such may say 1080p but look terrible compared to a good brand like samsung 1080p or even 720p. my 32in 720p westinghouse lcdtv looks better then my roomates 1080p 46in visio lcdtv

I have a 48" Sony Bravia TV, and I am in love. Its internet ready, so I can stream netflix, youtube and a bunch else straight from my TV. And since its Sony, my Bravia Remote also controls my PS3!

Check for some of their smaller sizes, but I would recommend this TV to absolutely anyone!

If your budget minded a Panasonic TC-P42C2| or a Samsung PN42C450B1D| will do. Both are 720p, 42", and cost around $500. The Panni has the edge in PQ and a lower power consumption. While the Sammy is lighter, thinner, and has more features and ports...
