Lost Planet, Play or Pass?

I'm thinking about getting Lost Planet, but I'm not so sure about it. I know Gamespot gave it a 7.5, and that is has a nice demo, but is it really worth the money?

Anyone have the game and can comment on the campaign, the online multiplayer, and the single console multiplayer?

Its a quite cool looking game. GAmeplay gets very tiring as its the same stuff over n over again. Monstors are way cool, but thats about it. Story was lacklustre, the last fight was a pure rip off from Zone of Enders to.

Worth a Rent

The only reason i bought it was because it came out when nothing else was out(jan i think...) i wouldn't recommend it unless none of the upcoming shooters like halo3, BIA, Cod4, MoH, Army of Two, Merc2, Bioshock.... interest you if you hate all those games then yeah buy lost planet its an ok game the single player story was nice.

The Mulitplayer was kinda fun but it got annoying to me because it felt a little weird with all the mechs around. Its a unique game and if you absolutely love running around in mechs get the game otherwise wait for bioshock this month.

LP is one of my favorite capcom games,storyline is decent at the start but goes down hill after the 5th chapter.

I'm interested in mostly all of the upcoming shooters, but is LP a good game to cover the gap until September when Halo 3 releases?

I bought it a week ago, I'm enjoying it.
