I believe it may have been too good. I played it non stop for 3 days straight and beat it, theweek of release. And I havent touched it since. And really dont feel the need or want to, ever again.
i enjoyed it very much, tho insane is a little to insane for me, i cant even get thru the part with *SPOILER* garrus when you split up and go down stairs to stop the enemy advnace from the back *END SPOILERS* otherwise great game
The best single player game ive ever played, the only thing that ruined it for me,was the need to scan every planet for raw materials, it got boring really quickly
Massively disappointed. Seemed short, forced, and I felt I didn't have the freedom I did in the first one. I have not played any DLC for it so I can't speak from there, but I'm not in any hurry to get it.
I love this series its all about Dialogue for me i can care less if its a 3ps or RPG i love the story they are telling . I LOVE THIS GAME playing on Insanity right now OMG are The husk and Praetorian a pain in the Butt .
Favourite game of the year for me. The characters they created were absolutely amazing, the plot was engrossing, gameplay dynamics were top notch, and DAMN was it a fine game!! Did I enjoy it? Why yes. Yes I did.
Hell yes I did, it really pulled me into the story, and the characters were great. Loved how long it was too, rather than another 6-8 Hr. game. One of my favorite games from this gen.
I put almost 60 hours in ME2 and it easily climbed the charts to my #2 game of all time (after Ocarina of Time, of course), so yeah I can say I loved it. Gonna buy the new dlc this week as well :).
Unfortunately, i never got around to beating mass effect 2 even though it was amazing throughout. I got to the very end of the game and had to take it back, but one of my main goals this year is to go back and finish mass effect 2.
I liked it more than any other game I've played this generation, and that's tall praise. I'd say Red Dead is probably a close second. The story blows away uncharted 2's.
If the ME1 story was combined with the combat/interface of ME2, that would have been the best RPG in a long time. The story and twist in ME1 was far and away better than ME2, ME2 was way too predictable, and the death of crewmates was a cool idea but the story overall was leaning toward mediocre.
