They all have different gameplay putting them in different genres and the amount of planets in those don't compare to ME's...

Your arguemnt is useless as you can do it with any game. That's like saying COD 4 is not a shooter because you can shoot people in Saints Row and GTA

oh you jsut brought up a good point. lots of diolouge, able to upgrade player and weapons, multiple ways to go as a story line. why are sandbox games not considered RPG's if thats the case.

Because the way you play a sandbox is completely different to how you play an RPG. With sandbox games not every choice you makes has an affect on the story or on your character. You can go and kill tons of your own gang members but then still get the same missions you would if you didn't and everyone still trusts you. Sure you can change your clothes and makes yourself more muscular but it doesn't really change anything about the gameplay it's mostly for looks.

Here's another example for your terrible comparisons: WWE games, they have dialogue, multiple storylines and you can upgrade your characters. And they are not considered an RPG because they're simply not. Just out of curiousity what games do you ocnsider to be RPG's, and what make s a game a RPG in your eyes?

Actually research about a game before you make idiotic accusations. There are countless sources on the internet that you can read and watch that would clearly show you that this is a RPG. If you did and still thought this was NO way a RPG then either you're a 2rd grader or someone with a IQ of -100000000000.

Halo is a mmorpg, AC is a shooter that is very linear, and COD4 is a family game like Viva Pinata. That answers your question to agree or disagree:lol:mohammad93

Mass Effect has all the qualities of an RPG, besides the combat. Just because other games have extensive dialogue doesn't mean they are RPG's or that they are anywhere near the depth in Mass Effect, as you are able to pick different options for each situation and your choice determines the outcome of that situation, or even more the whole game.

I somewhat understand where you are coming from, but to deny that Mass Effect is even close to an RPG is just ignorant.

BTW Mass Effect doesn't have multiplayer.
