Mass Effect rated M by ESRB!

They call too much stuff partial nudity.

You wanne bet it's some sort of same system as KOTOR and if you don't equip any armour or clothing you can see your character in his underwear and that's what they call partial nudity.

Yeah they can be a bit absurd sometimes. I remember getting the original C&C for the N64 (old school huh) and had blood on the rating but it was just a couple red pixels when infantry died.

amen to that, nothing soft, something more hardcore like gears just puts me that much more in the game.

Nah, I hope the gore is nothing like Gears. If anything, that took you out of the game. That was just totally unnesseccary and stupid. No one blows up into chunks from a shotgun. M games done right though, are better. Something like Rainbow Six, where you have blood and cursing...but no one blowing up.

no im not saying for it to be like gears, far from it. but i want that blood, not like kotor where you kill someone and you see nothing, i want there to be something realistic and not overdone like gears but still there, i liked it in gears but it wouldnt be right in ME

Yeah, I understand what your saying, and I would agree. This is a game that really doesn't need to be held back by a T. Personally, I think KOTOR would have been M if not for the fact that Lucas Arts wouldn't have let them, and they wanted to sell the new Star Wars game to a larger audience. Jade Empire did pretty well as an M...though I thought it went occassionally over the top. I expect Mass Effect to be a nice balance though, and it is definitely a game that I am highly anticipating.
