This game is great to play. It is one of the best 360 titles out now. It is not of the person who is into a fast one to finish. It lets you control how the story goes.

Wrong. How can you call this game underrated? So many fanboys for this one...

That being said, I really loved the game as a whole, but all the people that are saying the game has the greatest story ever must have never read any books in their lives. Best story on the 360? Maybe; but that certaintly isn't much of a compliment. The story is your typical save the universe blah that we've all seen before. How its presented, though, is fantastic.

I haven't played it, because I'm not an RPG fan, but I did play Oblivion, and if you're gonna get a 360 RPG, Oblivion would be the one have. Mass Effect just hasn't interested me at all.

And as much as I enjoyed Mass Effect I have to agree with this statement. Oblivion will last you much MUCH longer than Mass Effect will and it's a fun and rewarding experience to play through. There is so much to do, explore, and collect in that game that you will often find yourself overwhlemed by the scale of it all. Oblivion > Mass Effect.

To play this game you need to love sci fi and rpg's and be willing to wait for an epic story to unfold. Im more of a jrpg fan at heart and have been since the snes says but I can say with out hesitation that Mass Effect is one of my favourite rpg's ever, it is an amazing game and even the technical issues can not ruin it for the right person at least :).

I played through Mass Effect. It was pretty good. Not the best game ever, but good nonetheless. Once you get off the main citadel, the game picks up a lot, but even the concept of finding missions and then completing them are good. Remember that on the citedal you don't have many action fighting scenes, but the rest of the game is loaded with them. Give it time, you'll most likely like the game, even if it doesn't become your favorite.

No, you have to keep moving the story forward. If you are only playing through the first couple of hours, of course it will get boring. You have to give yourself a chance to level up your character and explore the different missions. Once your character starts becoming powerful and experienced it really gets intersting and fun.

The first time you play the game the Citadel and the first couple of hours of the game are boring as hell, but once you start to learn the ins and outs of the combat, the stats the armour system ect, and you can leave the Citadel it gets tons better.

I was really lost and overwealmed at first in the Citadel, it seamed huge, but now after about 3 serious playthroughs, i can get the eden prime and citadel stuff done in about 20-30 mins.

Once you get into the game it sucks you in, its awesome on your 2nd playthrough too.

Its an imensly epic and amazing story, not the mention the soundtrack for me is up there with the likes of Deus Ex and most Nobu Utamatsu stuff.

it amuses me that you're saying that its too easy, when you've only played what is essentially a tutorial. as with all games, it gets much harder towards the end. and you can turn off aim assist and turn up the difficulty any time you want. really, you should give it a fair chance, once you get about 4 hours in you really start getting into it, and by the end you can't put it down- its just ridiculously cool in the last 1/3 or so of the career.
