Usually there's some nagging flaw that causes worry before a game's release, but for Mass Effect, it almost seems that no such flaw exists. KOTOR is my favorite game of all time, but this one looks like it might usurp it. Mass Effect just looks so spectacular, not only in concept but in execution, that its hard to find flaws in its idea. There is almost a unanimous positive anticipation for it. If Bioware can execute what they claim, and pull of the feat that the concept of this game entails, it will be one for the ages. Mass Effect can't come soon enough.
theres a third 1 coming out? lol didnt no since i didnt play the second one. i think i mite hav to reserve this game since alot of ppl are expecting it lol i was hopin to pick it up like a few days after it comes out

No such game has been announced. The next Star Wars game will be Star Wars: Forces Unleashed. Mass Effect, however, has been announced to be a trilogy.
ya i remember reading that years ago. my buddy had an xbox magazine and it was wen the 360 first was bout to come out and mass effect was the bog story in it. lol that was the only time i've ever read an axbox magazine
Not since Oblivion have I been so hyped for a game, and Im probably more hyped for this than I was Oblivion. Best part is Mass Effect is a trilogy, so 2008 we can expect ME 2 and in 09 we can expect ME 3. As much as I want this game to come out, Bioware can take all the time they need to finish it, no need to release it when its not ready. I am very confident though that Bioware will deliver with Mass Effect, they've done it with all their other titles so I don't see them stopping that trend now.
It's my 2nd most anticipated game of 2007, only behind Super Smash Bros Brawl. I LOVE the KOTOR franchise, and I can't wait to see what the folks at Bioware cooked up for this one ;)Staryoshi87

what about halo 3? bungie makes halo not bioware, bioware is makin mass effect
God I cannot wait for this game. I think this is my most highly anticipated game of the year. Halo 3, to me personally is more of a "well i've played the first two, may as well finish the fight" kinda thing, compared to Mass Effect. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for Halo 3 to finish the fight. But Mass Effect is even more exciting.
