Master Chief VS Gordon Freeman

Realistically, Chief, But Gordon is cooler.the_leet_kid

I don't see a guy who wears thick glasses could be cooler than MC. If you knew MC (ie read the books) MC is just as smart tactically, what kind of soldier needs a degree from MIT?

Is this really a question?  Is it not PAINFULLY OBVIOUS?  MC has a full armor suit that's bullet resistant, can act as a scuba suit, and is a master of all weaponry; Gordon Freeman is a mute MIT grad who USES ALIENS' BODY PARTS AND THEIR INFANT CHILDREN AS WEAPONS.  He BLOWS UP THEIR KIDS.  MC just uses a shotgun and his elbow to kill people and Gordon Freeman commands people to do it.  He prefers a crowbar to decapitate his victims.  MC's suit can't stop a crowbar, fools.  Plus, with the gravity gun...

OK OK, this thread getting out of control.

I support both people, each has it own strength and weaknesses 

Master Cheif(John) force to a hard core fighting school when he was a child and train till he was a powerful solider, and that before he was given enhancements and then his power-suit, and then later the shields system.

Dr. Freeman was an regular guy working at the black masa project till it went horribly wrong, and he grab the nearest crossbow and started waking havoc

First test from there own starts, Master chief wins since he been train to kill and has more experience doing so while Freeman had to learn from off the start with only his environment power suit to protect him. I get into later combat if they were force to fight each other.

The convernet is a religious race from from Mulit species that come together for one cause, to get to there promise land useing the Halo rings. The Humans were thought as evil people bent on stopping them from doing so, so they start taking them out one solar system at a time. These Humans have been at war for a long while now.

Dr.Freeman Earth however only been in war for 7 hours before defeat, that after the black masa incident, when the combine came and took over as there slavers, and it was quick change for them, must of been quite disturbing for all of them seeing there world change in one day. One point for Freeman, he had to experience every thing he lost so quickly, and be able still to fight on afterward

Dr, free man have to fight horrible monsters that now live in there lands, as well fight off the combine and there military units with there solider mainly by him self.

Master chief basically had to fight off the Convernet, Flood, and stop the Halo rings from activating on Halo ring by him self too, almost all of these things at once some times(With the help from his Cyber AI program- forgot the name of her :-)" So in terms of fighting there enemies, it's a tie.

Now if they were pit against each other in a hand to hand brawl, even if Freeman has his crowbar, master chief would brake his arm where he have his Crowbar on and kicks his ass :-) He stronger Phycallely then Freeman, he only a Human after all

If they would have there guns of choosing. Dr. Freeman, even if he have his gravity gun, would be at a disavanagted again Master chief since he used powerful weapons and then the plasmas gun the Convernet got if he decides to used them. Sure Freeman could used the plasma ball the one gun had as it grenade, but it has to hit now dose it?

If Dr. Freeman get his Grav Gun charge up like the end of Haft Life two, then he will Pawn Master chief over and over again no drought.

at the end, these are both good people doing the right thing for there kind, why are you people freating over this, they both can kick ass. get over it Geez...

Well, Nomad could kill anything. But between MC and Gordon, I'd have to say Gordon. I can picture MC with his head pinned to a wall by an arrow.

Heres the fight , MC draw his both pistols,and at the smae time GF sprint to mc back while drawing the machi gun and firing,he start shooting and sprintin until mc dies! you talking of the fight just like the two would stand there, sitted shooting thenselves!naimneto

I think it is safe to say that a genetically enhanced super human with a full armor suit and shields would beat an average guy with an HV suit. but the freeman is way more kick a$$ than master chief

Normally that would be true, but not in the case that the average guy has a gun that can send the superhuman flying through the air like a ragdoll and then crush him with a building all without breaking a sweat.

Yes, but this is the X-Box 360 forum isn't it? And the X-Box 360 version doesn't have multiplayer... Anyways... How hard is it to see a pole that isn't on your screen? pretty damn hard, and like I said, that has happened to all of us, even the better of us, MORE THAN ONCE... So how can you say it doesn't happen?... Now, that said... Can GF hit MC... YES, but MC is a super soldier with super armor... GF is some scrauny scientist with a bio suit that adds super speed, and thats about it... The suit doesn't even protect his head, it has no helmet... SO, in the game, GF would shoot MC once, it would bounce off his shield, he would laugh, take out his sniper rifle, and blow GF's little freggen head off.........

The G-Man will not let Gordon lose to anyone because of Gordon's usefulness. Let's see the Chief try and defy the G-Man's otherworldly intentions because it's not gonna happen.
