Metro 2033 glitch

Hey I have just started the Dead City level in Metro 2033 and am stuck because of a glitch. It wont let me put my gas mask on. Ive downloaded the patch. I have gone back a level and played again.Still no luck. Is it a game breaker?

I see many others have had the same glitch but I cant find the solution. Anyone experienced this and solved it?

Hmm... when i played the game i never ran into a glitch like that but i did run into a glitch a few times where my gun would not fire.

I played the game a coulpe of times and never experienced that, sorry!

There was a guy who posted recently about a glitch which kept him from removing his gas mask. He played a good bit of the game after with the mask still on! Game must be a bit buggy!
