Has anyone played this game yet on their 360? I have only seen reviews of the PS3 version and I am hoping the 360 plays better since the developer had expereience with 2033 on that console.

Any experiences are greatly appreciated. This isn't a "bash" type thread for the other console, I am really just looking for 360 performance experiences with this game.

Thanks!!

I am about to play it on the 360 in about 5 hours. I am sure it would be just as good. Metro 2033 was great on the 360.

Currently I'm on Chapter 6, which isn't actually very far, maybe like 2 hours in tops.

It is really really good so far, the story takes place 1 year after Metro 2033, same characters, same past events etc etc. But the graphics are awesome, and they made the stealth better. The first game is one of my all time favorites, and this is living up to it. So hopefully the story doesn't take a bad turn, but so far it's a solid story!

Not that I've noticed. I was somewhat concerned that this game would be a poor port of the PC version and end up being vastly inferior, but from what I've played it seems to run quite well on the 360. Of course, I've only played a couple hours so there could be areas of the game I haven't reached yet that have technical problems, but so far so good.

I'm liking the game so far, it's incredibly atmospheric, like it's predecessor. The setting, the weapons, everything about the game is very unique.

There are two things that have irked me - one, the game is quite linear (at least so far), which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I would like to see more freedom to explore (I've heard later in the game things open up more). And two, the enemy AI is not very good, and in some circumstances is downright terrible  (at least on the normal difficulty I'm playing on).

Thank you very much for your feedback! Those are the same complaints I have heard elsewhere, but it is nice to see you haven't encountered any technical issues. I think I will pick this one up after finals.
