kojima is quite possibly one of the most over rated developers ever

he hasnt even made it into the acedamy of interactive arts and science hall of fame

kojima is never going to be in the same league as guys like shigeru miyamoto peter moulynux and john carmack

I read somewhere that Konami expects 60 mil on day 1 of the release to break even with production costs. Sounds crazy, but I don't think its gonna happen. I know the hardcore fans of the series are picking it up as soon as comes out. They will be the first to say if MGS4 will be worth it to even have it ported to the 360. Until that day, I will gladly wait for it to make an appearance on the 360.

How many times does Konami and Kojima have to confirm that it's a PS3 exclusive? They say it time and time...and time again, yet this rumor won't die.

If, and only *IF* Konami says differently then it's coming. Until then, it's a PS3 exclusive and if you want to play it you need to buy a PS3.

Look, I don't have a crystal ball and neither do you. All I'm saying is that the developer of the game says it's a PS3 exclusive, and until they say otherwise, it's a PS3 exclusive. An Xbox fan website saying it's coming means squat unless the developer confirms it. You should be able to understand this.

I couldn't care less if it does come out for the 360. I own both systems so it doesn't bother me either way. I'm just going with the facts, and as of now the facts are that it's a PS3 exclusive.

konami said they would need to sell a million copies in the first day to make back production cost which most likely isnt going to happen

mgs 4 would be very possible on the 360 and if it comes down to konami not making back the production cost on the ps3 they might just have to make it multiplatform

Not according to Video Game Chartz. It's actually 8.86 million. They provide the latest and most up to date sales from retailers.

Also, I said it in the otehr thread and I will say it once over here and only once. MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive. Get over it

If you're reffering to my link, that doesn't matter. The sales figures for all consoles on that site are reported by the retailers.

some things dont always go as planned

a game like mass effect wouldnt do well on ps3 because people dont buy much games on ps3

current offcial ps3 sales as of nov 15th 2007 5.59 million units sold its possible that 8 million ps3 have been shipped but sold not even close

so unless ps3 sold 3 million units in 40 days

ps3 current units SOLD not SHIPPED sold r 5.59 million units maybe a litle more then that

the current ps3 sales have not i repeat have not topped 6 million units sold maybe shipped but not sold

no mass effect isnt going to the ps3 because ms published it

sony has no incentive to mgs4 no rights to it if konami says put it on the 360 then it will be on the 360
