Microsoft falling apart?

I haven't even expressed any opinions in this thread. There's been a single issue I've addressed: The 360 is a successful gaming console. I don't think that's open to debate, but if you'd like to argue it, go right ahead. Oh, and it wasn't just me. A bunch of people jumped on that absurd statement of yours, "The 360 is a failure."

I don't know. A while back in the thread he said the 360 was a failure. A bunch of people pointed at that's not the case, to which he responded that the 360 has had some hardware problems. Apparently, since he's had hardware problems, that makes the console a failure...his hardware problems, not anything like consoles sold, games sold, or market share.

Please produce a quote block from me where I claim the 360 does not have hardware failures. Of course, that isn't the issue here. The issue is that you've decided the console was a failure, which is inarguably wrong.

Microsoft will fall apart when 80%+ of the worlds computers are not sold with a Microsoft OS on it. They will not back away from the game marketplace either as they have invested incredible amounts of money and time into getting the position they have now. Plus, best selling type of entertainment in history.

That might be the case with Vista, but it is absolutely not the case with 360. You went off on this tangent about how the 360 has hardware problems. Yes, the 360 has hardware problems, but it's been a success in the marketplace in spite of that. I don't know what's so mystifying about this.

Right, it's my fault that you posted an argument that is completely irrelevant to your main point. My entire argument it stated in that quote block up there. You want to tell me which part of it reads, "Raiden, please talk about how the 360 has hardware problems, even though that has nothing to do with the thread, or the point you posted"?

After reading both of your posts. It really just comes down to this. The topic was about Microsoft falling apart. When a company falls apart you normally have to be losing money. The fact that the 360 has hardware issues has nothing to do with the topic. Even though it has its problems ,people still buy it which produces money. So in my opinion Microsoft is not falling apart. I mean palantas is just stating what you seem to be missing. Again, yes the 360 does have hardware problems but that doesnt mean it was a failure. The ps3 has no good games, does that mean its a failure? A system cannot be a failure if you have sold millions of systems worldwide. And if you really want to see a failure, i will mail you the Virtual Boy I got for xmas one year. Dear god.

I guess all PCs are faliures as well, and the WII was a failure at one point because the controls slipped out of peoples hands and broke the TV. Is that a hardware failure?

GM and Chrysler are falling apart. I don't know how people would think Microsoft is, or that they are failing as a game console; personal feelings aside.

that goes to ps3 lol , ps3 has not sold any where near what 360 or wii sold or the ps2, pretty sad, that sony made the 2 major mistakes -1 released a console over 400 , ,

2 released little to no software for its launch and beyond until 08 ,, ,it had nothing much to scream about , ,

then thier minor but hurting mistake now is taking away backwards capabilities ,
