I was just thinking about the PSP GO. I was thinking of buying it then I realized, for some reason, that it only had one joystick. This put me off buying the GO. I thought that if microsoft releases a powerful portable WITH TWO JOYSTICKS the possibilities could be endless for first-person-shooters and other categories of games. They could make older, less, demanding original xbox games (halo 1 of course but it could probably handle more then that). The original xbox had only 64 mb of RAM, and the last time i checked, the apple iphone had over 250 mb (im not lying my friend has a hacked iphone he can see the specs. I also heard that portable graphics cards and proccessors are getting very efficient.

Im not sure how good of a mraket decision it would be but wouldn't you buy it?

also they shouldn't include the word "zune" in its name, that would make it gay

I think there were rumors about Microsoft doing a portable. If it's compatible with the 360, concerning gamertag, gamerscore and whatnot, and isn't as bad - hardware/quality-wise - as the 360, I might get it instead of the DSi. If it ever comes out.

Personally, I'd much prefer Microsoft to focus on the Xbox 360 and continue making great games. But if they can continue that and make a portable game system, I'm all for it.

I'm with you. Mainly with it still having so many errors and the RROD to fix.

The next generation consoles come out, at absolute earliest, 2012. If It is more like 2013-2014, then this portable console could be a sort of carry-over

In a couple years the technology will be there to be able to run many xbox 360 games in it's (guessing) 540p screen size.

It would be great if it could do xbox live and stuff

I'd rather they just stick to the console side of things. I don't see anyone cutting into Nintendo's dominance of the portable market any time soon.

I wouldn't call Nintendo Quality tho.. Alot of their games are very Childish.. I reckon if Xbox came into the Portable market it might make Nintendo try make some better more challengeing games so I can add to my VERY small Nintendo DS library(Only pokemon emereld and diamond)

The portable system market is pretty much dominated by Nintendo. I'd rather have Microsoft focus on home consoles.

Personaly most of my gaming I do is at home anyways. I have never played my DS or PSP anywhere outside my home. Kinda defeats the purpose but whatever. lol

I can name dozens of games for the DS that are simply fantastic, and another handful of ports that are as equally good. Just because most of their games lack gore and blood, and M ratings, doesn't mean it lacks in quality. Just from the tip of my tongue: Professor Layton's Series; Yoshi's Island; Mario (specially Mario Kart); then you have the Final Fantasies, Chrono Trigger, Metroid, Castlevania.. if I ever get a portable, I'm definitely going for the DS.

I think they should have done that instead of XBox 1. They could have dominated the high end hand held market (maybe before the PSP even had a chance) instead of cramming in to and disrupting a crowded console market. If they would have been real successful with that, they could then jump into the console market properly. Too late now though. Although, I don't know what I would have done without XBox Live during that era, the PS2 online... lol.

I'd rather MS stick to just making the 360 as good as it can be. It would take an enormous amount of effort and money to break into the handheld market where the DS and PSP already dominate. And it is harder to convince someone to buy a second handheld when they already have one of the others that have far more games available.

I'm not much or a portable game system person. I have a PlayStation Portable and I barely touch the thing.
