Heart of the Reich was the first time inthe last15 years my controller almost got destroyed. Challange is good. Endless grenades dropping on you with endlessly spawning enemies throwing them is bad. I read a gamefaqs vet guide after dying 20 times and it said 90% of people would not get passed that point. I thought they were being dramatic, but they weren't. That made Mile High Club looks like a cake walk.

I agree, at least with Mile High Club you could learn from yourself to get better at completing, with that it is no skill just hope the grenades land in the right spots. I beat both but was more satisfied with MHC knowing it was skill that got me through not dumb luck. Amirite?
In my opinion you are totally right. I have to say I was HAPPIER I beat HotR because I honestly was doubting if I was going to be able to, but like you said, I got lucky, the grenades landed in the right spots and I hit a checkpoint. MHC required a certain degree of luck, but it was minimal. With enough knowledge of who was where doing what, and the skill to execute it, it is very doable. I am definitely more proud of MHC because I would say HotR is about 95% luck 5 % skill, and MHC is about the total opposite. As for the controller, I still have a SNES with yellow tape holding it together to remind me that's not the way to do.
