Molyneux considered replacing the Fable dog with a parrot for Fable III

Well, if you're new to being a Lionhead follower, which kind of sounds like you are, welcome aboard might I add. Peter Molyneux is the biggest S*** talker the gaming industry has to date. Don't believe have the stuff that comes out of his mouth. He has been doing this since Black and White. As for having a Parrot, wouldn't be too bad if he talked crap and attacked people. They would resort back to Fable 1, which you used a shovel to dig, and it wouldn't be a big problem. Personally thought the dog was pointless and just got in the way, nor did I ever see him attack anything.

As long as the dog isn't replaced with Milo, I'm fine... That'd just get creepy.

I don't see the problem with having a bird as a sidekick, but a parrot? Why not an owl or a raven? You could control them for a couple of minutes and use them to look around or steal an item.. or poke someone's eyes out.
