So, what game do you guys think was great, but was underated and not appreciated? Im gonna have to say Assassins Creed, thogh it had some good scores on sites, no one really got into it much and alot of ppl haven't even played it! I think that game was soo deep and crazy awesome..
Condemned. Ninety Nine Nights. (It was okay, but still) Perfect Dark Zero. (If it wasn't for the hype, it would have done amazingly well, and well it exceeded my expectations) Dead Rising.
The Darkness. Man that game IMO is the best first person experience for me,its so realistic with all the graphics and dialouge with a hell of a good story that will take grip of you from start to finish.
Eternal Sonata was the most surprising and underrated game I've played. This game kind of gets lost in the shuffle in XBox RPGs because Oblivion, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect get quite a bit of attention (which they rightfully deserve).
Hitman: Blood Money was really good. The Darkness was really good too. Just Cause also comes to mind. It's no GTA but I enjoyed it. It's got better graphics than GTA, though.
I agree with The Darkness. I never heard of it untill my friend mentioned it and i went out and got it cheap. Awesome Game. Very good gameplay and The storyline makes it really addictive, Now ive completed 3 times and have a few Darkness comics.
How can people say Dead Rising was underrated? It got good reviews and it sold well. It was really popular when it first came out. Everyone was playing it.
I know it sounds wierd but I loved Two Worlds. Yeah I see why people didn't like it so much but everyone compared it too much to Oblivion which everyone knows is #1 of all time but still it had a more D&D feel. Very good if you had a friend cause it wasn't laggy between local connections
Assassin's Creed deserved its scores IMO (except from Gamespot. 9.0? wtf). Crackdown was underrated though; most people only bought it for the Halo beta. It's so fun though; sure there's no real story, but how many shooters have a real story? It was wayy more open world than Assassin's Creed was in terms of how much random stuff you could do, and co-op was always a blast when I played with my friend. The cheat mode was amazingly fun. I still find this game a blast when I play it every now and then.
Also, The Darkness was surprisingly good. I thought it would be good, but just as a summer game to tide me over during the long draught of games last summer. IT turned out to be way better than I expected. Except the multiplayer was just terrible...
Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata get my votes. If JRPGs were more popular on the 360, then these two would get a lot more attention. they're both better than a lot of recent games and it felt good playing something else other than a bunch of shooters

I was impressed with The Darkness though I found it really easy at points.
I would have to say Crackdown so many people bought that game for the Halo 3 beta and didn't realize what a great game they had purchased. Sure the story is practically none existent, but the gameplay is great.
