Lots for the X360 honestly.
Dark Messiah Of Might & Magic
Under-rated adventure, has a fun fighting **** excellent environmental kills (like kicking people off cliffs before they see you!), a good story, and some twists and turns. I have NO idea why it got a 3.5. Maybe the reviewer was having a bad day?
Project Sylpheed:
Story heavy, gameplay light, but, a good solid entry in the space shooter genre, with incredible voice acting and animations.
Lost Odyssey:
Chastized for being depressing, and changing the usual anime art **** A game that uses adults as it's primarys, exceptional story telling, including dream sequences, fun and challanging dungeon bosses, and a real breath of fresh air to an entire genre...it deserved at least a 9.
The Darkness, Eternal Sonata, and Overlord.
I personally think Lost Odyssey was rated just about right.
I also think Ninja Gaiden 2 is approaching that status.
Unfortunatly for it, it is a frusterating and difficult game. Most reviewers are just doing their job, which is to beat a game quickly and explore it.
Ninja Gaiden 2 makes you hate it, when you approach it with the wrong state of mind.
The reviewers pretty much uniformly despise the game. They just know that they can't get away with giving the game lower scores than they did. The game is obviously amazing to score so well even though most reviewers hold within a spiteful hatred for the game due to its difficulty and cheapness.
The game wants you to die. That's obvious. It doesn't want uber-skilled players to just blow through it. You are supposed to die and be frusterated, that's kinda a big F U from Itagaki. "Yes this game is hard, and if you didn't die a million times I didn't do my job and I let the series fall into casual despair."
That is why this game is under-rated, imo.
[QUOTE="XxSTILL_BORNxX"]The Darkness. Man that game IMO is the best first person experience for me,its so realistic with all the graphics and dialouge with a hell of a good story that will take grip of you from start to finish.msdd9
I was impressed with The Darkness though I found it really easy at points.
I would have to say Crackdown so many people bought that game for the Halo 3 beta and didn't realize what a great game they had purchased. Sure the story is practically none existent, but the gameplay is great.
I know it sounds wierd but I loved Two Worlds. Yeah I see why people didn't like it so much but everyone compared it too much to Oblivion which everyone knows is #1 of all time but still it had a more D&D feel. Very good if you had a friend cause it wasn't laggy between local connectionsIceman8012
I agree a great game once you get past the initial few hours. I really enjoyed the way the character leveled instead of the ES crap way.
More of a Diablo than an Oblivion (Morrowind is still better).
Earth Defense Force 2017
One of the funniest B-rated video games I've ever played.

My son and I had a hell of a good time playing split screen
I think all Sports games are underated. Everyone doesn't give a thought to how good it can be. All they care about is how good is the next FPS/Action game gonna beTehAssassin8
You know what is better than playing sports games...playing sports
