So what is the most terrifying game you have ever played for the 360? I love horror and am looking for some ridiculously creepy games. So far Dead Space is the scariest one I have ever played.

[QUOTE="Vault_Monkey"]bioshock 1 and 2 BioShock isn't really horror, but it does offer a lot of suspense and creepiness. I would recommend 100%So what is the most terrifying game you have ever played for the 360? I love horror and am looking for some ridiculously creepy games. why has no one said Alan Wake? its disturbing walking through those forests not know wtfs gonna be round the corner ... the fact you can relate to seeing similar environments in your everyday life just creeps me the hell out, I haven't been this scared since LOTR TTKiLLa187ScriLLaalan wake is hardly a horror game, its got a creepy atmosphere and suspence buuuuut its not scarey
It's not on 360, but Amnesia: The Dark Descent is pretty scary. Plus, it's the steam sale of the weekend.

Plus it can run fine on old PCs.

It reminds me of Silent Hill games... good stuff.
Dead Space nailed the atmosphere of survival horror. Alan Wake is another good game, not to scary but a really haunting atmosphere, Bioshock if you want creepy and mysterious storylines. Personally no game this gen has scared me like the first 3 Silent Hill and first two Fatal Frame games have. So if you REALLY wanna be scared, check those out

meh if you found dead space scarey you need exposure to real horror lol condended is scarey i suppose, hmm i personally think you need to go bk to the older consoles to find real scarey horror, modern stuff often feel like dodgy films to mepenpusher
Horror master, over here.
Yeah, only game to have ever made me jump is playing Dead Space alone in the dark with the sound way up. Creepy game.
The first Resident Evil scared me quite a bit way back in the day.
I'm a wimp when it comes to scary games, I get scared easily :P.
Games that I've thought are scary for the 360 off the top of my Head are,
King Kong - The V.Rex Levels still scare the hell out of me and this came out like 5 years ago
Alien vs. Predator - As with all the AvP games the Marine levels are easily the scariest.
Silent Hill: Homecoming - Scariest of all Silent Hill games, couldn't play it because I was so scared, there was a bit when you just unflooded a house and you come out into the back garden, it's dark and you can hear a dog growling, That pushed me over the edge and I turned the game off.
Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 - Both have their Scary moments, the Hard Rain Campaign from L4D2 comes to mind, especially when waiting out the heavy parts of storm in one of the many houses and one of the Special infected decides to pay you a visit...
Bioshock 1 - The Second game was like a Puppy when compared to this, especially when one of the Splicers sneaks up on you, spider splicers where creepy because I didn't want to look up in case another splicer attacked me from the ground.
Condemned - I only tried the Demo of this but from what I played it scared me, more hard than scary though.
FEAR - I think the 360 version of the first FEAR game is a port of the PC version and that game was scary, not so much the rooms with blood floating above your head but the parts when you don't realise you've just been looking at a ghost girl and then she moves, Jumpy stuff.
That's all I could think of at the moment. but as you can see I get Scared Easily :P
OMG yes! I played the demo on my MacBook earlier this week. I hate to quit and mentally regroup once or twice! ScRiezt game ever. I wish I would have snatched it while it was on sale. It's not on 360, but Amnesia: The Dark Descent is pretty scary. Plus, it's the steam sale of the weekend.
