However, Burnout has always been underappreciated. It has been one of the best racing games in existence for a few years now. Without a doubt the best arcade racing series ever made.

Wow you really believe that? They review accurately? No such thing, everyone has different opinons, that's why numerous game sites and magazines have different review scores for every game. If your opinon is always in line with that of the gamespot reviewers it is because you've accepted their opinon as more important than your own.

I own Condemned and I actually accept an 8.0 as a very good rating. It was a very good experience, but a very short one also, graphics were unimpressive and it have none replay value if you got all achievements.So remember folks, a game can do exceptionally well in one category, but the overall rating is an average of all categories, so Condemed had a very good gameplay and sound rating but a low value rating so it got an 8. Dont blame reviewers, they dont give the ratings that they want, they rate every category and the average of those numbers is the overall rating.

it's your opinion and reviewers opinions based on yours appreciation of the game... so for me it's equal to nothing I'm able to play a game and decide what I like and what I don't. Don't take your opinion as a fact because from my perspective graphics are great in condemned.

Very good point. I have a friend that thinks alien hominid had bad graphics because it was 2d and not 3d. Idiot...

Of the gamesi actually have,i would say none,however shenmue 2 (original xbox) is highly underrated imo,it gets an 10 imoblacktorn

Anyway, underrated? Tony Hawk's Project 8 got hit a little hard... and Lego Star Wars II deserved a few more points than it got. And DOAX2 -- because any game with "soft physics" deserves at LEAST a 7. :P

For arcade games? Lumines Live got the shaft because MS didn't know how to work with their 50mb limit yet. That game, with its add-ons in place, has nearly everything that PSP's Lumines AND Lumines II had at half the price. Also, Paperboy deserved a higher score than Root Beer Tapper.
