uhhh,,, what about dead rising? when u face the hunter guy and there are headless bodies hanging from the ceiling, dripping with blood. plus its a cut scene sooo wayy better visuals.
The Warriors. Who says a game has to be gory to be violent? I loved stamping on someone face time after time, or smashing a brick into his face then curb stomping his head down. Or howabout just sinking blow after blow into your opponents face, before headbutting him and smashing a stool over his friends head. Ahhh, good times.
I hate playing games that are violent just for the sake of being violent. Games like bioshock are very violent, but the violence adds more to the experience and isn't just there to glorify it.

Any Katamari game. You roll people into a ball, crushing them along with all their belongings, friends and relatives and then proceed to burn them all to death by igniting the unholy ball of crushed writhing human mass
I would have to say Thrill Kill which is a little known game since it was only put out on bootlegged copies after EA dropped it. This was back in the PS1 days and let me tell you, that game was brutal and a half! I loved it!
Most violent game ever is a hard question, i mean gears is one of few games you can see all the body parts and and blood and chainsaw its extremely violent in that sense but in the sense of suffocating with plastic bags or slitting throats which i saw in one game that i dont remember its not as violent. I'd have to say gears personally.
Sorry for double post, but actually I take that backs gears isnt as violent as conan. I only tried the demo and that things crazy. You can decapitate people and everything else, conan takes it i think.
Mortal Kombat - simply because its entire gameplay is violent, it rewards you when perform more violence.

Of coarse its going to reward you for violence, its a fighting game, its not like you're going to loose points because your hurting your opponent too much..
There are not many games that are really violent, iv seen videos of SOF3 and there is alot of blood and gore but so what? from the way the A.I reacts to being shot and fired at you wouldn't think they were humans doing whatever possible to survive, so the person playing the game doesn't get the sense of whats really going on, the A.I also doesn't show pain or shock when they get injured, shooting someone to bits is no big deal really in games, because it never really seems like your shooting at someone, if you shoot someone in a game with a shotgun and blow off their arm and they roll on the ground screaming like you would then it would make the game feel alot more real.

exactly. i played a game once (i dont remember the name) but when you shot the people they screamed out in pain, it was terrible. i dont think of myself as having a weak stomach but i couldnt play that game.
