Music you listen to while gaming?

What kind of music do you guys like to listen to while you play?

For me, it kind of depends what kind of mood I'm on. If I feel like kickin' some arse, I'll play something like Bullet For My Valentine, Dry Kill Logic, or As I Lay Dying. If I'm just fooling around, mostly Pink Floyd, The Shins, The Verve, and Led Zepp.

that's me there. I dont like it when I miss the gunfire, etc. but when I play WoW I have a whole soundtrack to play since those long 3 hour quest sessions do drive you insane after a bit

as i lay dying, bullet for my valentine, killswitch engage, system of a down, one of the mudvayne songs, avenged sevenfold, atreyu (their old stuff), the devil wears prada, disturbed, linkin park, stone sour, and rise against.

Old Nightwish, The Haunted, Opeth, In Flames, Necrophagist, Dir En Grey, Rammstein, Symphony X, Venom, Therion, Ayreon, Behemoth, At The Gates, SYL, The Black Mages, etc.

i normally just sing out loud famous and popular chorus' with my friends. Pretty funny when i'm on a sugar rush.

Otherwise i just listen to the game's soundtrack like other posts mentioned.

Generally speaking I just listen to the game, but if I'm playing something like Gears or Halo online I'll whack on something suitably aggressive like Converge or Vulgar/FBD-Era Pantera, heavy enough but with a groove to it. To me, it's just not as cool to layeth the smackdown via gravity hammer or chainsaw bayonet if it's something heavier like Morbid Angel or Pig Destroyer =P even though it'd be more aggressive and something I tend to listen to a lot as well.

If I'm just playing something to mess about like GTA I'll stick on something more laid back like Miles Davis, it's kinda funny, the juxtaposition of jazz and violent rampages =P

Tool are pretty good, I enjoy their music. On topic, I don't listen to much music when i play games. Only if its like WWE or Viva Pinata.

or ill listen to old rock like floyd, zep, hendrix, beatles, clapton

usually S.O.A.D, Slipknot, or the actual game sounds if im playing w/ some friends.

Normally when I play shooters online I listne to Eric and Rakim-Don't Sweat the Technique(best song to own nubs to), faster Nine Inch Nails(March of the pigs, Survivalism, Ruiner), Dangerdoom, Mf Doom, Madvillian, Slayer
