How much harder is cod 4 to beat then mw2? Because my friend lended me cod 4 and I wanna beat it on vet, I thought mw2 was decent..

i played through cod 4 on vet, and thought it was pretty easy. MW 2 i feel is harder for some reason.
It's either I'm covering one sidE ( trying to protect the warpig) then they shoot me from the other ...
Or a bunch of massive grenade spam and I run out and die instantly. Or an rpg smacks me....
This is really frustrating. tips?

MW2 is, in my view, much easier than MW1. My top-tip is to let your AI partners do a lot of the work when available. They'll clear out rooms really fast, and you just need to "trigger" them to move forward most of the time. Also, don't run into swarms of enemies either, stay back and pick as many off as possible (remember there's no infinitie enemy spawns).
Good luck. :)

I'm trying to beat mw1 not 2 :PHoly tomato I completely misread your post... lol, sorry. Anyway the first hint is still relevant, but not the second. Actually the second oppostie now, since there ARE infinitely respawning enemies you should try and get to "points of interest" of objectives as fast as possible; all while being cautious.
But ... good luck still!
Just wait until you have to run down the hill in "heat" and defend your position in "one shot, one kill." nate_c-12
I beat this years back when it first came out on casual, but is that the mission where its like apartment buildings and theres a dog attack and you run to this ferris wheel and you gotta defend yourself, and I think I remember someone being injured and you have to carry him? ??
or was this gillie in the mist? and prevent spoilers if im wrong please :)
COD 4 is harder than MW2. But some of the special ops on veteran are much harder than COD 4 (besides mile high club).
the only hard spec ops are the echo missions ive done 1 on my own but cant do the jugganaut 1ssharkman123I had to do High Explosives and Armor Peircing by myelf because I couldn't find anyone [good enough] to play them with.. Armor Peircing is such a pain..
The second Modern Warfare's veteran setting is really not that hard the only two levels I had problems on were contingency and The Estate level( I can't remember what that one was called). I had more problems on the first Modern Warfare for sure. I don't know if it was getting better between playing the two though.
